The first zone in the United States, located in Orangeburg County, South Carolina, is in the early stages of development. Upon opening, a new platform for growth will be offered in the area. The Orangeburg site will bring together immediate interstate access, reliable utilities, a quality workforce and scalable real estate offerings that will provide customers a location for growth and profitability.
Jafza Americas is designing and developing the Orangeburg Industrial and Logistics Park located in Santee, SC. The park will support customers’ logistics, distribution, assembly and light manufacturing needs in the southeast United States.
The 1,322 acre site will be developed in four stages over the next 20 years as determined by market conditions. This is a catalyst project and is expected to create thousands of jobs.
Facilities will include serviced land plots, pre-built warehouses of various sizes, offices and the ability to develop custom facilities for lease. Project plans will also integrate community areas such as food courts, public amenities, first response EMS, security, a job training center in cooperation with local educational institutions, and more.
Additionally, the park will mandate best practice policies relating to environmental issues including noise barriers, buffer zones and sustainable growth technology from the design phase.
